​Safety Bulletin: Slow Down for Summer
As traffic increases during the summer travel season, our commitment to safety remains our highest priority. Extra vehicles, construction zones, afternoon storms, and distracted drivers all require increased awareness behind the wheel.
Remember:
  • Slow down and adjust your speed for weather and traffic conditions.
  • Maintain a safe following distance.
  • Eliminate distractions and stay focused on driving.
  • Use the GOAL (Get Out And Look) method whenever backing.
  • If conditions become unsafe, notify Dispatch and prioritize safety over schedule.
